Technical Architect

Responsibilities:
Change how we build software. Push AI into the everyday work of the team, from writing and reviewing code to testing and docs, so we ship faster and with fewer mistakes.
Build the habit across the team. Hire people who reach for AI by default, run the training and playbooks that bring everyone up to speed, and set the example yourself.
Put the foundations in place. Build the data platform, the model and LLM plumbing, evaluation, monitoring, and the guardrails we need to ship AI safely in a regulated, money-handling business.
Decide what AI native actually means for us, set goals for it, and keep raising the bar as the tools change.
Requirements:
Strong hands-on engineering experience.
You have built, shipped, and looked after complex software at scale, and you are still comfortable in the code.
A real point of view on AI in software, ideally from using and rolling out AI tools, agent workflows, or ML and data systems yourself.
Solid grounding in distributed systems and backend architecture, and building for scale and reliability.
Clear communication, good judgement on priorities, and the ability to run with things on your own in a fast-moving early-stage company.
Curiosity, and the willingness to keep learning as the tools shift.
Mentorship / Leadership experience in previous roles would help.
