We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Golang and solid experience in Java and C++ to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing distributed applications, developing RESTful APIs, optimising system performance, and working with cloud-native technologies. This role requires a developer who is passionate about writing clean, efficient code and building reliable backend services that support business-critical applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services primarily using Golang (70%).
Develop and enhance backend components using Java (30%) where required.
Work with C++ for performance-critical modules and legacy system integrations.
Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
Design scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Optimise application performance, memory usage, and response times.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience in Golang (must-have, primary language).
Good experience in Java.
Working knowledge of C++.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience building large-scale backend platforms.
Strong understanding of system design and distributed computing.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools is a plus.
