As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems using Java technologiesThe ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building scalable microservices-based applications, REST APIs, cloud deployments, and distributed systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performing, and enterprise-grade solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain microservices-based architecture.
Develop RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise applications.
Participate in system design discussions (HLD & LLD).
Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Work with databases, caching mechanisms, and messaging systems.
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
Ensure clean coding standards, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement efficient solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
Requirements:
Strong experience in Core Java, Java 8/11/17
Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
Experience in developing REST APIs and backend integrations.
Knowledge of system design (HLD & LLD) concepts.
Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
Hands-on experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
