Senior SDET

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SDET to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API and backend testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java-based automation, API validation, contract testing, and modern testing practices in CI/CD environments.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust API automation frameworks using Java, REST Assured, and Postman.
Perform API functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, authentication, and business logic.
Develop and maintain automated test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
Perform Contract Testing using consumer-driven testing approaches.
Validate OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Design test scenarios for OAuth2/JWT authentication and authorisation.
Manage test data and automate test data creation where required.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to improve product quality.
Mentor junior QA engineers and drive automation best practices.
Requirements:
6-8 years of QA Automation experience.
Strong Java programming skills.
Good to have skills: REST Assured, Postman, API Testing, OpenAPI/Swagger Validation, Contract Testing, CI/CD Integration, OAuth2/JWT Testing, Test Data Management, Git & Maven/Gradle.
Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
Nice to have: Cucumber (BDD), Performance Testing using JMeter/Gatling/k6 Security Testing basics, WireMock / Mocking, Consumer-Driven Contract Testing (Pact), SQL and Database Testing, Docker & Kubernetes exposure.
