We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, cloud-native microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and GCP services, with a focus on designing secure, high-performance backend applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Develop cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Integrate applications with messaging systems such as Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.
Design and optimise relational and NoSQL databases.
Build CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using cloud-native tools.
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and product managers.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimise system reliability.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
