Senior Director - Agentic AI

We are looking for a Senior Director - Agentic AI to lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of next-generation AI-powered platforms. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can define technical vision while remaining hands-on with architecture, AI systems, and critical engineering decisions.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and deploying production-ready AI applications at scale. You will lead high-performing engineering teams, drive AI-first development practices, and build scalable products serving millions of users.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute the engineering vision for Agentic AI platforms and AI-powered products.
Build and scale production-grade AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and multi-agent systems.
Drive AI-first software development by adopting coding agents, AI-assisted testing, and AI-powered development workflows.
Lead architecture reviews and establish engineering standards for cloud-native, distributed systems.
Design scalable, secure, and highly available AI platforms capable of serving large-scale B2C applications.
Partner with Product, Design, and Business teams to align technology strategy with business objectives.
Mentor engineering leaders and build a culture of ownership, innovation, and technical excellence.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and implement solutions that improve engineering productivity and product quality.
Ensure AI systems are production-ready with strong observability, security, governance, and compliance.
Requirements:
17-22 years of software engineering experience with significant engineering leadership experience.
Strong expertise in agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, and production-ready AI systems.
Experience building and deploying AI-powered applications at enterprise or internet scale.
Strong understanding of AI orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, and AI workflows.
Hands-on experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, Kubernetes, containers, and distributed systems.
Expertise in designing highly scalable APIs, data platforms, and resilient backend systems.
Strong knowledge of Python and modern AI development ecosystems.
Experience leading engineering organizations delivering high-scale B2C products.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with multi-agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
Exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, FAISS).
Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, or AWS Bedrock.
Telecom, FinTech, e-commerce, or other large-scale consumer platform experience is preferred.
Familiarity with GDPR and enterprise AI governance.
