Senior Software Enginer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Appium to lead mobile automation testing for Android and iOS applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing scalable Appium automation frameworks, executing mobile test automation, and ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of enterprise mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust mobile automation frameworks using Appium.
Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases for Android and iOS applications.
Enhance and optimise Appium test suites for better coverage, stability, and execution speed.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
Identify, debug, and resolve issues found during automation testing.
Integrate Appium automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in code reviews and promote automation testing best practices.
Contribute to improving overall mobile testing processes and framework architecture.
Requirements:
3.5-6 years of experience in Mobile Automation Testing.
Strong hands-on experience with Appium (mandatory).
Experience automating Android and/or iOS mobile applications.
Good programming skills in Java.
Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
Familiarity with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Experience with Git and version control.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have:
Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Exposure to BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar cloud-based mobile testing platforms.
Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
Basic knowledge of Docker and containerised environments.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
