We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with experience in building AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java backend development and hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise-grade applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and integrate AI-powered solutions leveraging LLMs and Generative AI technologies.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and AI agent workflows.
Integrate AI models through platforms such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar providers.
Work closely with product, engineering, and AI teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design decisions.
Follow best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
Requirements:
5.5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
Good understanding of SQL and database design principles.
Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications.
Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar.
Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, RAG, and AI Agent architectures.
Familiarity with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or other LLM platforms.
Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Exposure to vector databases such as Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, or Milvus.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

Strong backend engineering expertise combined with practical AI implementation experience.
