DevOps Engineer - 2D

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer II with strong hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD. The candidate will play an important role in designing, maintaining, and improving scalable cloud environments and automated deployment processes. The ideal candidate should have solid practical experience with GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, Python, and automation and should be comfortable working with cross-functional and international teams.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Manage and optimise GKE and Kubernetes environments for application deployment and orchestration.
Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, and deployment.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for consistent and scalable infrastructure provisioning.
Develop automation and scripting solutions using Python to improve operational efficiency.
Manage source code and configuration using Git and follow version control best practices.
Monitor infrastructure, applications, and deployments and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot production and infrastructure-related issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
Improve system reliability, scalability, deployment speed, and operational efficiency through automation.
Collaborate with development, QA, and other engineering teams to streamline software delivery.
Work closely with Europe-based teams and effectively communicate technical issues, solutions, and project updates.
Contribute to DevOps best practices around automation, infrastructure management, security, and reliability.
Requirements:
Mandatory Skills: GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, CI/CD, Automation, Python.
4-6 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with GCP is mandatory and non-negotiable.
Good hands-on knowledge of GKE and Kubernetes.
Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Good scripting and automation experience using Python.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment practices.
Decent English communication skills, as the role involves close collaboration with the Europe team.
Candidates must be based in Delhi NCR, as one of the interview rounds will be conducted face-to-face at the office.
