Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications.
Build and maintain UI automation using Playwright and Selenium.
Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Participate in sprint planning, release validation, and QA sign-offs.
Contribute to improving automation coverage and testing processes.
Learn and adopt new testing tools and practices as needed.
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in QA automation, software testing, or SDET roles.
Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium.
Strong experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
Good understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
Experience writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools and version control systems such as Git.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced product engineering environment.
Good to Have:
Exposure to AI/GenAI/LLM-powered applications.
Experience testing conversational AI, chatbots, or AI-powered features.
Familiarity with prompt testing or validating AI-generated responses.
Experience using AI-assisted developer/testing tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT.
Knowledge of Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
