Staff Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to the design, architecture, and development of scalable, high-performance software solutions.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical requirements and goals.
Take ownership of key technical decisions and guide the team on best practices.
Develop and maintain clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
Mentor and support the growth of junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, feedback, and knowledge-sharing.
Identify and address technical challenges, inefficiencies, or bottlenecks within our systems and workflows.
Contribute to the overall strategy and vision of the engineering team and company by bringing innovative solutions to the table.
Collaborate across departments to ensure successful product launches and improvements.
Requirements:
8-14 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record of delivering production-grade applications.
Expertise in Java, Python, Golang, Node.js, C, C++, etc. )
Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Proven experience in cloud platforms (e. g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (e. g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and high-performance systems.
Ability to lead technical discussions, make complex technical decisions, and guide teams toward solutions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
