We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Accountant to own and manage the entire finance and accounting function of the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial reporting, compliance, taxation, audits, FP& A, and business finance, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
Own and manage the company's end-to-end finance and accounting operations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
Manage cash flow, treasury, working capital, and fund utilization.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, the Companies Act, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
Handle direct and indirect taxation, tax filings, and assessments.
Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and financial due diligence activities.
Develop and strengthen financial controls, accounting policies, and internal processes.
Partner with business leaders on strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Manage vendor payments, invoicing processes, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Drive MIS reporting and provide actionable financial insights to leadership.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Support fundraising activities, investor reporting, and board presentations, where required.
Ensure scalability of finance processes and systems in a growing SaaS environment.
Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.
2-5 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting roles.
Experience managing end-to-end finance functions in a SaaS, technology, startup, or high-growth company preferred.
Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.
Hands-on experience with audits, financial controls, and process automation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
