About The Business:
Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain all project documentation within the Electronic Document Management System.
Ensure all incoming and outgoing documents are registered, distributed, tracked and archived in accordance with project procedures.
Perform quality checks on document metadata, numbering, revision status and document classification before submission.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, quality, vendors, and clients regarding document submissions and comments.
Monitor document review workflows and ensure timely processing of transmittals, submittals, and correspondence.
Maintain document registers and generate periodic reports on document status, review progress and aging.
Ensure compliance with project document control procedures, standards, and client requirements.
Support audits by providing accurate document records and traceability.
Manage revision control and ensure only the latest approved documents are available for use.
Track overdue reviews and follow up with stakeholders to meet document turnaround times (TAT).
Essential Attributes:
Technical:
Strong knowledge of document control principles and best practices.
Strong reporting and presentation skills for document status, KPIs and aging reports.
Ability to work effectively within EIDA, SharePoint or similar document management systems.
Experience in engineering, EPC, infrastructure or construction project document management.
Familiarity with document numbering systems, revision control, and transmittal processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Understanding of quality management systems and document control procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Capable of communicating effectively with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
Experience working on semiconductor fabrication facilities (fabs), cleanroom environments or large-scale engineering/manufacturing plant projects is highly preferred.
