Role Description The Executive Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in New Delhi, with a mix of on-site responsibilities and some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves providing strategic leadership across the group’s businesses, setting clear organizational priorities, and ensuring alignment with long-term goals. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing operations, guiding senior managers, reviewing financial and performance reports, and making data-informed decisions to strengthen profitability and sustainability. The Executive Director will lead strategic planning, manage key partnerships, represent the organization with external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. This role also includes building a strong, inclusive culture, mentoring leaders, and driving initiatives that support innovation, efficiency, and growth.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in a senior management or executive role, with responsibility for strategy, operations, and organizational performance.
Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial and operational metrics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent the organization internally and externally.
Track record of leading cross-functional teams, driving change initiatives, and building collaborative, inclusive work environments.
Ability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans, manage risks, and adapt to evolving market and regulatory conditions.
Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
Experience working in or with multi-business or group organizations, preferably with exposure to the New Delhi or broader Indian market.
Strong ethical orientation, sound judgment, and commitment to non-discriminatory, gender-neutral, and inclusive leadership practices.
