Role Description The Reporter role at Blossom Air Technologies is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Reporter will research, gather, and verify information related to the company’s projects, innovations, and industry developments, and convert these into clear, engaging news stories and reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting interviews, attending briefings and internal meetings, collaborating with technical and marketing teams, and producing written and multimedia content tailored to different platforms and audiences. The Reporter will maintain editorial accuracy, adhere to ethical reporting standards, and ensure timely coverage of company milestones, events, and thought leadership initiatives. This role involves close coordination with stakeholders to present complex technical topics in accessible, reader-friendly formats.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Reporting skills, including information gathering, verification, and story development.
Candidates should possess excellent Writing and News Writing skills to produce clear, concise, and engaging content.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including interviewing, stakeholder liaison, and audience-focused messaging.
Candidates should possess basic to intermediate Multimedia skills for creating or coordinating visual and audio content (e.g., photos, short videos, presentations).
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field are beneficial.
Ability to translate complex technical topics into accessible narratives, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with technology, engineering, or deep tech sectors is an advantage, as is experience in newsroom or corporate communications settings.
