THE ROLE
Shrestha is a greenfield hospital opening in May 2027. This role is 70% hiring. You have until March 2027 to build an establishment of roughly 350 people from zero.
Recruitment completion is a prerequisite for NABH readiness and Clinical Establishment registration.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY — TALENT ACQUISITION
• Own the full hiring plan to go-live. Volume clinical recruitment against fixed dates, not a rolling pipeline.
• Build the sourcing network. Nursing colleges, paramedical institutes, agencies and referral channels across Durgapur, Asansol, Kolkata and the wider East.
• Run the process end to end. Screening, interview coordination with clinical heads, offers, negotiation, onboarding.
• Protect conversion. Offer-to-join drop-off is the main risk at this location. Candidate experience, follow-through and relocation support are yours.
• Award and manage outsourced contracts. Housekeeping, security, GDA and canteen — roughly 185 people across four vendors.
• Credentialing. Verified qualifications and registrations for every clinical hire, ready for audit.

Payroll and attendance · statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment, Contract Labour) · HR policy and handbook · personnel records to NABH standard · nursing hostel administration.
WHAT YOU NEED
• 6–10 years in HR, at least 4 in hospital or healthcare.
• Proven volume clinical hiring — nurses and technicians at scale, not only white-collar roles.
• Working command of Indian labour law; able to own filings, not route them to a consultant.
• Fluent Bengali and Hindi alongside English.
• MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent. Based at Andal — this role cannot be run from Kolkata.
