Security Engineer

The company moves other people's money and the security team is currently two people in another timezone. That is the whole reason this role exists. You would be the first security engineer in India and, for a while, the only one awake when something happens during business hours here.
A US fintech scaling its India engineering team is hiring through Flexiple. The work splits roughly between hardening what already exists — authentication, key management, the payment flows themselves — and getting ahead of what engineering ships next. Nobody will hand you a backlog. You would build it from what you find in the first month, and you would have to be honest with yourself about which risks actually matter at this company's stage rather than which ones are easiest to write up. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
Roughly 4 to 8 years, hands-on rather than policy-authoring, comfortable with cloud identity and secrets management and key rotation, and carrying enough code to fix the bug yourself when the team is busy.
