Warehouse Operations Manager

A mid-sized distributor of industrial supplies, serving customers across three states, has a warehouse that has outgrown the way it is run. Stock counts drift from the system, pick errors are common enough that sales keeps a mental list of SKUs to double-check, and nobody owns the floor full time. Flexiple is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager to fix that.
You would run daily floor operations end to end: receiving, put-away, pick-pack-ship, cycle counts, and the labour roster that keeps it moving on time. The first few months are largely about closing the gap between what the system says and what is on the shelf, then keeping it closed.
Three to eight years running warehouse or distribution-centre floor operations is what this needs, with real comfort supervising a shift crew and reading a WMS report. Experience with industrial or B2B distribution stock, rather than e-commerce parcel volume, is a plus given how different the order profile is.
3-8 years managing warehouse or DC floor operations, including shift supervision
Working knowledge of a WMS or inventory-management system
Comfort running cycle counts and closing inventory variances
Basic Excel or Google Sheets fluency for daily reporting
