Company Description Chirag Parmar Signatures is a bespoke couture and menswear studio based in Bengaluru, specializing in custom suits, tuxedos, sherwanis, Jodhpuris, and Indo Western designs for clients worldwide. The studio focuses exclusively on made-to-measure garments, ensuring each piece is crafted to individual measurements rather than produced off the rack. Every garment is constructed with quality canvas to maintain structure and longevity, and features hand embroidery created in-house by skilled artisans. Clients can experience the studio through in-person visits or schedule online consultations, reflecting a personalized and detail-oriented approach to menswear design.
Role Description The Fashion Designer role is a full-time, on-site position located at the Chirag Parmar Signatures studio in Bengaluru. The Fashion Designer will create and refine bespoke menswear designs, including suits, tuxedos, sherwanis, Jodhpuris, and Indo Western garments, while maintaining the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, selecting fabrics and trims, overseeing garment construction, conducting fittings with clients, and collaborating with in-house artisans on hand embroidery and other detailing. The role also involves working closely with the studio team to ensure timely delivery of custom orders, maintaining accurate design documentation, and contributing to seasonal collections or special projects.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion concepts, with a focus on bespoke or couture menswear.
Proficiency in Fitting and garment construction, including taking measurements and adjusting patterns for precise fit.
Knowledge of Textiles, fabrics, and materials suitable for high-quality tailored garments.
Hands-on skills in Embroidery and surface embellishment, or ability to collaborate effectively with embroidery artisans.
Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Ability to sketch designs, use design software, and communicate ideas clearly to clients and production teams.
Attention to detail, strong craftsmanship standards, and commitment to maintaining brand quality.
Excellent interpersonal skills for client interactions, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
Previous experience in luxury, couture, or bespoke menswear is highly beneficial.
