Role Description
We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to support logistics planning, transportation operations, inventory movement, and supply chain performance. You will analyze logistics data and operational processes to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, service levels, cost control, and overall supply chain performance.
You will collect, organize, and analyze data related to shipments, transportation costs, delivery performance, inventory movements, warehouse operations, and logistics activities. You will prepare regular reports, dashboards, and performance analyses to provide clear insights for operational and management decision-making.
You will monitor key logistics indicators such as delivery times, transportation costs, order fulfillment, shipment accuracy, carrier performance, and inventory flow. You will identify trends, investigate operational discrepancies, and work with relevant teams to develop practical solutions to improve logistics performance.
The role involves collaborating with warehouse, procurement, supply chain, transportation, finance, sales, and other teams to support logistics planning and execution. You will also assist with route optimization, capacity planning, shipment tracking, logistics cost analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
You will contribute to improving data accuracy, reporting processes, and operational visibility while identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce costs, improve delivery reliability, and support a more efficient and resilient logistics operation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation, warehousing, inventory movement, and supply chain processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational and logistics data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
Familiarity with ERP, WMS, TMS, business intelligence, or supply chain management systems is a plus.
Ability to develop reports, dashboards, performance indicators, and data-driven operational insights.
Good understanding of logistics KPIs such as transportation costs, delivery performance, order fulfillment, lead times, shipment accuracy, and inventory turnover.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies, operational gaps, and process inefficiencies.
Ability to conduct root-cause analysis and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with logistics, warehouse, procurement, finance, and other cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple analytical tasks and reporting deadlines.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of logistics optimization, forecasting, transportation planning, or supply chain modeling is an advantage.
Proactive, structured, and results-oriented mindset with a strong interest in data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
