Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Content Editor at Digistall – Your Gateway to E-Commerce. The Content Editor will review, edit, and refine digital content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency, with a focus on e-commerce and rural technology initiatives. Daily tasks include editing web content, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, checking grammar and style, and collaborating with writers and subject matter experts to improve content quality. The role also involves organizing and updating content in digital systems, conducting basic research to validate information, and suggesting improvements to enhance reader engagement and usability.
Qualifications
Strong editorial and content management skills, with the ability to organize, review, and maintain digital content.
Proficiency in web content writing and general writing, with clear, concise, and audience-appropriate communication.
Research skills to verify information, gather supporting data, and ensure factual accuracy.
Attention to detail, including strong grammar, spelling, and style-checking capabilities.
Comfort with digital tools, content management systems, and basic e-commerce platforms.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Interest in rural development, digital inclusion, or technology for social impact; prior experience or coursework in related fields is a plus.
Currently pursuing or having completed studies in Communications, English, Journalism, Media, or a related discipline is beneficial but not mandatory.
