Role Description This remote Design Assistant internship role supports the creation of visually engaging materials and design assets for Digistall’s e-commerce initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with graphic design projects, preparing layouts and visual content for online platforms, and helping with basic computer-aided design (CAD) or interior design-related tasks as needed for digital storefronts or product displays. The intern collaborates with the design and customer-facing teams to ensure brand consistency, user-friendly interfaces, and clear visual communication. Responsibilities may also include organizing design files, supporting simple revisions, and contributing ideas to improve the visual experience for rural users and small businesses.
Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills to collaborate with team members and support rural clients and partners.
Foundational skills in graphic design, with the ability to create clear, appealing visuals for digital platforms.
Basic knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) and/or interior design concepts for layouts, product displays, or digital storefronts.
Comfort with remote work tools, time management, and the ability to follow design guidelines and project briefs.
Interest in e-commerce, rural development, or social impact initiatives; prior design coursework or portfolio samples are a plus.
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment.
