About the Role
The Head of Student Success & Placements will be responsible for designing and managing the complete student lifecycle—from admission handover to successful placement. This role will ensure every student receives personalised guidance, career support, industry exposure, and placement assistance while creating an exceptional learning experience that results in high student satisfaction, referrals, and placement success.
This position will lead the Student Success, Career Development, Corporate Relations, and Student Experience teams while working closely with the Admissions, Academic, and Marketing departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Success & Engagement
Own the complete student journey from enrollment to placement.
Build a structured student support system with assigned Student Success Executives.
Ensure every student receives regular mentoring and guidance.
Conduct monthly student feedback sessions and implement improvement plans.
Resolve student concerns proactively and maintain high satisfaction levels.
Increase student engagement through clubs, events, competitions, hackathons, and community activities.
Career Development
Build a placement-ready ecosystem for every student.
Ensure every student has an updated resume, LinkedIn profile, GitHub portfolio, and project portfolio.
Organise communication skills, personality development, group discussions, and mock interview sessions.
Track each student's placement readiness through measurable milestones.
Corporate Relations & Placements
Develop strong relationships with startups, IT companies, and corporate recruiters.
Expand the company's hiring partner network.
Plan and execute campus placement drives, recruitment events, and hiring campaigns.
Coordinate internships, live projects, industrial visits, and corporate interactions.
Maintain placement records and employer feedback.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor Student Success Executives, Career Coaches, Placement Executives, and Student Experience team members.
Conduct weekly review meetings and performance evaluations.
Develop SOPs, dashboards, and reporting systems for all student support activities.
Build a high-performance, student-first culture across the department.
Data & Performance Management
Track student attendance, assignment completion, project progress, communication scores, mock interview performance, and placement readiness.
Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.
Identify at-risk students and implement intervention plans.

Preferred Background
Experience in EdTech, higher education, skill development, training institutes, or placement organisations.
Prior experience leading student success, operations, placements, training, or academic support teams.
Experience working with recruiters, HR teams, and corporate hiring partners.
