Role Description The Autocad Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and updating detailed engineering drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and related CAD tools. Day-to-day activities include interpreting technical specifications, collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineers, preparing layouts and product designs, and ensuring that designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with production and quality teams to resolve design issues and support implementation on the shop floor. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Alwar, requiring regular interaction with cross-functional teams and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and be proficient in AutoCAD or similar design software.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Design Engineering and Product Design for industrial or manufacturing applications.
Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to component and system design.
Candidates should possess basic understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts to coordinate effectively on multidisciplinary projects.
Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
Attention to detail, ability to read and create technical drawings, and familiarity with industry standards and tolerances.
Effective communication skills, ability to work on-site in Alwar, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience in manufacturing or plant engineering environments and knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) are beneficial.
