We are seeking a Design Engineer to lead design activities and manage customer communication for Rainwater Harvesting and Water Management projects. The role includes preparing engineering designs and documentation, coordinating regulatory approvals (including CGWA NOC), monitoring water‑meter data, and liaising with clients and site teams to ensure technical quality and timely delivery.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare detailed engineering designs, technical datasheets, and as‑built drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop design calculations, schematics, and bill of materials for rainwater harvesting, recharge, and related systems.
Manage and coordinate regulatory submissions and clearances, including CGWA NOC applications and follow‑ups.
Lead customer communication: present designs, respond to technical queries, and maintain client approvals and records.
Monitor water‑meter and telemetry data, analyse trends, and produce periodic reports and recommendations.
Support procurement by maintaining vendor/material databases and preparing specification sheets.
Coordinate with site teams and clients to resolve design‑related issues and ensure installations follow approved designs and standards.
Conduct site inspections, support commissioning and final handovers, and prepare handover documentation.
Provide regular technical updates to the Technical Head and senior management.
Maintain ISO documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of internal design processes.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
1–3 years’ relevant experience (freshers with strong internships may apply).
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; experience with basic hydrological or hydraulic calculation tools is preferred.
Familiarity with CGWA procedures and documentation.
Ability to work with water‑meter/SCADA/telemetry datasets and prepare analytical reports.
Strong communication, client‑facing skills, and problem‑solving ability.
Willingness to travel to project sites.
