About the Role
You will own experiences used by thousands of merchants every day, from merchant dashboards and analytics to customer portals and product widgets. You will:
Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance UI components across Recurpay product and Shopify widgets.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate ideas and wireframes into smooth, production-ready features.
Challenge requirements instead of blindly implementing them.
Integrate with backend APIs and ensure efficient data flows.
Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams.
Create reusable systems, not one-off solutions. Obsess over performance, edge cases, and delightful UX.
Push the team forward through better engineering practices and thoughtful reviews.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
Strong understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, React, HTML and CSS is a must.
5 years of experience in SaaS, building modern frontend applications.
Ability to consume and work with APIs efficiently.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Shopify Liquid templates and Storefront APIs.
Understanding of browser performance and responsive design.
Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
