Company Description Amcare Super Speciality Hospital is a 110-bed advanced healthcare facility located on VIP Road, Zirakpur, Mohali, and is the first super speciality hospital in the Zirakpur region. The hospital offers comprehensive services across key specialties, including cardiology and cardiac surgery with a fully equipped cath lab, orthopedics, neurology, spine and neurosurgery, oncology, urology, gastroenterology, nephrology, and more. It is supported by fully equipped ICUs, a neonatal ICU, modular operation theaters, and a 24-hour emergency department staffed by anesthetists and trauma specialists. Amcare also provides extensive diagnostic services such as MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, X-ray, color Doppler, echo, an automatic laboratory, and a blood and component bank, creating a robust environment for clinical and administrative professionals.
Role Description The Billing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Amcare Super Speciality Hospital in Dera Bassi. The individual in this position oversees the end-to-end billing process, including patient registration data review, charge capture, invoicing, and timely submission of claims to insurers and other payers. Responsibilities include monitoring billing accuracy, resolving discrepancies, coordinating with clinical and front-office teams, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulatory requirements. The Billing Manager tracks key revenue cycle metrics, identifies process gaps, and implements improvements to optimize cash flow and minimize claim denials. Daily tasks also involve supervising billing staff, training team members on billing systems, and preparing regular reports for management on billing performance and collections.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong billing process and invoicing skills, including experience managing patient and insurance billing in a healthcare setting.

Candidates should possess solid analytical skills, including the ability to interpret billing data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.

Experience in hospital billing operations, medical coding exposure, and knowledge of payer policies and regulatory requirements is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in a supervisory or managerial billing role.
Strong attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment are expected.
