Company Description Infinity Quality Services (IQS) is a leading India-based provider of Inspection and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) services, supporting a wide range of industrial sectors. The company delivers specialized inspection and training solutions that meet NDE, quality, and safety requirements for client organizations. All inspections and training are conducted by technicians and instructors certified to SNT-TC-1A requirements by the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT). IQS offers services at client sites or in its own classrooms, providing flexibility for employers and their teams. With extensive hands-on experience, IQS performs and witnesses' inspections for equipment, components, and materials such as castings, forgings, welds, automotive spares, plates, pipes, and marine engine parts.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ITI Fresher role located in Panihati. The ITI Fresher will support inspection activities under the guidance of senior technicians, assisting in tasks such as preparing work areas, handling tools and equipment, and organizing inspection materials and documentation. Daily responsibilities may include basic measurements, visual checks, helping in NDE procedures such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work environment. The role involves recording observations, labeling samples, and updating basic reports or logs as directed. The ITI Fresher will also participate in on-the-job training, follow standard operating procedures, and adhere to company safety and quality guidelines.
Qualifications
Completed ITI certification in a relevant trade (e.g., Fitter, Welder, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
Basic understanding of industrial safety practices and willingness to follow safety protocols.
Ability to assist with basic measurement, visual inspection, and handling of tools and equipment.
Willingness to learn non-destructive testing concepts and inspection procedures under supervision.
Good observation skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work on-site in Panihati and support field or workshop activities as required.
Basic communication skills in English and local language; ability to maintain simple records and reports.
Positive attitude, reliability, and readiness to work in an industrial environment with rotating tasks.
