Role Description
We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career technology professionals interested in working across Cybersecurity, Network Security, SOC Operations, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, Identity & Access Management, SIEM, Incident Response, and DevSecOps.
The Cyber Security Engineer will work closely with IT, software, infrastructure, cloud, data, operations, and other business teams to protect enterprise systems, applications, networks, endpoints, and digital assets from security threats and vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Electronics, or a related discipline.
Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, network security, SOC operations, cloud security, security engineering, vulnerability management, or related technology roles can apply.
Candidates currently working as Cyber Security Engineer, Security Engineer, Information Security Engineer, SOC Analyst, Security Analyst, Network Security Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer, Application Security Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or Cybersecurity Analyst are encouraged to apply.
Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, cybersecurity, technology, consulting, fintech, telecom, e-commerce, cloud services, manufacturing, logistics, or other industries are welcome.
Basic to good understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, networks, operating systems, applications, endpoints, and cloud environments.
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, IDS/IPS, and network-security concepts.
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Active Directory, IAM, MFA, access controls, and system administration will be beneficial.
Exposure to SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, Elastic Security, or similar tools will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with vulnerability tools such as Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS, Nmap, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or similar tools will be beneficial.
Exposure to EDR, antivirus, endpoint protection, firewall, or security-monitoring technologies will be an advantage.
Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10, web security, API security, vulnerability management, and common cyber threats.
Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, IAM, cloud networking, and cloud-security concepts will be beneficial.
Basic scripting or programming knowledge in Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, or similar languages will be an advantage.
Exposure to Git, GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or DevSecOps practices will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Understanding of incident response, log analysis, threat detection, malware, phishing, and security investigations will be beneficial.
Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CEH, ISC2 CC, Google Cybersecurity, Cisco CyberOps, AWS/Azure security certifications, or similar credentials will be considered an advantage but are not mandatory.
Good analytical, investigative, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work effectively with IT, software, infrastructure, cloud, and business teams.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
Internship, cybersecurity lab, CTF participation, home lab, certification project, GitHub project, security project, hackathon, or academic project will be considered but is not mandatory.
Strong willingness to learn new cybersecurity, cloud, networking, monitoring, and security-automation technologies.
