Hiring: Billing Engineer – Civil & Interiors (C&I)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Engineer – Civil & Interiors to manage end-to-end vendor billing, certification, quantity verification, and cost monitoring for civil and interior fit-out projects.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Vendor & Contractor Billing
Verify and process contractor/vendor RA bills for civil and interior works as per BOQ, WO and site measurements.
Cross-check quantities with site execution, drawings and measurement sheets.
Ensure timely certification and submission of bills.
Track advances, recoveries and final bill settlements.
Quantity Verification & Certification
Validate site measurements against approved drawings and BOQs.
Prepare and certify MB Sheets, RA Bills and Final Bills.
Identify quantity deviations, excess claims and scope variations.
Ensure billing complies with contractual terms and approved rates.
Cost Monitoring & Budget Control
Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
Track variation orders, extra items and change requests.
Identify cost overruns and potential savings.
Maintain cost trackers for vendor packages.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records of certified bills, WOs, BOQs and supporting documents.
Update billing trackers, cost sheets and dashboards.
Prepare weekly/monthly billing status and pending reports.
Support internal/external audits and final account closure.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Teams, Procurement and Vendors.
Resolve billing discrepancies and vendor queries.
Ensure all approvals and supporting documents are available before certification.
Support project handover and final account documentation.
🔹 Requirements
🎓 Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering preferred
📊 Experience: 2–6 years in Civil & Interior Fit-out Billing
Must-Have Skills:
Strong knowledge of BOQ, Rate Analysis & Quantity/Measurement Verification
Hands-on experience with Vendor Billing, RA Bills & Final Accounts
Advanced MS Excel
Exposure to ERP/SAP and billing software
Ability to read and interpret Civil & Interior drawings
Understanding of interior materials, finishes and execution processes
Preferred Experience
Commercial office fit-outs
Coworking/interior contracting projects
Large-scale commercial projects
PAN India / multi-location project billing
Strong cost-control and vendor-management exposure
