Role Description The Jewellery Store Stylist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The stylist will welcome customers, understand their preferences, and recommend suitable jewelry pieces for everyday wear, special occasions, and gifting. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing personalized styling advice, presenting product features, handling customer queries, and supporting sales closure in a respectful and service-driven manner. The role also involves maintaining store displays, ensuring merchandise is arranged attractively, and keeping the store clean and organized. The stylist will collaborate with the store team on stock checks, basic inventory updates, and participation in promotional events or in-store campaigns.
Qualifications
Customer service and retail sales skills, with the ability to engage warmly and build trust with diverse customers.
Styling and visual merchandising abilities, including a good eye for color, design, and current jewelry trends.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with clear spoken English and local language proficiency preferred.
Basic computer literacy for billing, point-of-sale systems, and simple inventory tracking.
Prior experience in jewelry, fashion, or lifestyle retail is an advantage but not mandatory.
Ability to stand for extended periods, work retail hours (including weekends and holidays), and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail in handling products, customer information, and payments.
Interest in learning about gemstones, metals, and jewelry care, with a willingness to participate in product and sales training.
