Role Description The Design Architect will work on architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed designs for projects across various typologies, ensuring alignment with client requirements, local regulations, and Vaastuvit Architects’ design standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design proposals, preparing construction drawings, coordinating with structural and MEP consultants, and participating in site reviews to ensure design intent is maintained during execution. The role also involves managing design documentation, supporting design presentations, and collaborating with project teams to resolve technical and aesthetic design issues. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Pune Division, with a combination of on-site office work and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Architectural Design and Architecture skills, with experience in concept development and detailed design.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Design Management, including coordination with consultants, project teams, and stakeholders.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for client interactions, presentations, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent from a recognized institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
