Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, space plans, and FF&E selections for luxury residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with drawings and presentations, preparing mood boards and material palettes, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and helping manage project documentation and site-related design queries. The role involves collaborating closely with senior designers to ensure design intent is maintained through all stages, from schematic design to execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring regular visits to the studio and project sites.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate design concepts into practical solutions.
Proficiency in Space Planning and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection aligned with luxury and functional requirements.
Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings and technical details for on-site execution.
Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Working knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and an interest in luxury interiors and global design trends.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
Prior internship or junior-level experience in an interior design or architecture studio is an advantage.
