FyneHand has been mandated to hire a Head – Enterprise Applications for a leading player in the banking industry. The job location is Mumbai.
Core Expertise: Core Banking (Finacle)
* We are specifically seeking candidates with prior experience in the banking sector. Please note that candidates without relevant banking-sector experience will not be considered for this position.
Role Summary: Lead the technology function for critical banking applications, driving platform stability, digital transformation, application delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage Core Banking and enterprise applications, including lending, wealth, and HR platforms
Drive technology roadmap, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives
Lead application delivery, upgrades, releases, and production support
Ensure platform availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery readiness
Manage regulatory compliance, audits, and technology risk
Oversee vendor governance and stakeholder management
Lead and mentor large technology teams
Desired candidate:
18+ years of IT experience in Banking or Financial Services
Strong experience managing Core Banking platforms (Finacle preferred)
Exposure to lending and enterprise applications
Experience leading large-scale technology transformation programs
Strong stakeholder, vendor, and team management skills
Education: Engineering graduate; MBA preferred
Location: Mumbai
