Role Description The Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for supporting and executing marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and business growth. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, analyzing customer needs and competitors, and assisting in the development of marketing strategies and campaigns. The role involves coordinating with sales and customer service teams, preparing marketing materials, managing basic promotional activities, and tracking campaign performance. The Marketing Specialist will also engage with customers and partners as needed to support sales efforts and maintain positive relationships, while ensuring all marketing activities align with company objectives.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers.
Ability to conduct Market Research, analyze data, and draw actionable insights to support marketing and sales decisions.
Foundational Sales skills, with the ability to support sales initiatives, understand customer needs, and contribute to closing opportunities.
Experience or training in Marketing Strategy, including planning campaigns, positioning products, and understanding target audiences.
Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and building long-term relationships.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
Comfort using basic office and digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email, and online research); exposure to marketing or CRM software is an advantage.
Relevant education in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a marketing or sales support role.
Ability to work on-site in Surat and adapt to a fast-paced trading environment.
