Job Summary
The General Manager – Interior will be responsible for leading and overseeing all interior design and execution activities for Auramah Valley’s real estate projects. This role requires strategic planning, design excellence, cost control, vendor management, and timely delivery of high-quality interior works aligned with brand standards, budgets, and project timelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Leadership
Develop and implement interior design and execution strategies aligned with Auramah Valley’s vision and real estate portfolio.
Lead, mentor, and manage interior design, project management, and site execution teams.
Coordinate with senior management, architects, consultants, and external stakeholders.
Design & Planning
Oversee concept development, detailed designs, specifications, and material selection for residential, commercial, and amenity spaces.
Ensure interiors meet functional, aesthetic, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain brand consistency and premium quality standards across all projects.
Project Execution
Manage end-to-end interior execution from design approval to handover.
Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets and schedules.
Monitor site progress, quality control, safety compliance, and workmanship standards.
Budget & Cost Control
Prepare and manage interior budgets, BOQs, and cost estimates.
Optimize costs through value engineering without compromising quality.
Approve bills, variations, and final accounts in coordination with finance and contracts teams.
Vendor & Contract Management
Identify, negotiate, and manage vendors, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Evaluate contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Maintain long-term relationships with reliable vendors and service providers.
Coordination & Compliance
Collaborate with construction, MEP, procurement, sales, and marketing teams.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, fire norms, safety regulations, and statutory approvals.
Address client, buyer, and internal feedback related to interiors.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
12–18 years of experience in interior design and execution within real estate, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Strong experience in luxury residential, commercial, or large-scale real estate projects.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, and execution methods.
Expertise in budgeting, cost control, and project planning.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and other relevant design/project tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Attributes
Experience working with premium or luxury real estate brands.
Strong aesthetic sensibility combined with practical execution knowledge.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle high-value projects.
