Architectural Communication Designer
Location: South Delhi
Experience: 1 to 4 years
Work Mode: Work from Office
Work Structure: Five Days Working
Compensation: INR 5.00 to 6.50 LPA
Preferred Background: B.Arch or Architecture or Spatial Design or Communication Design
About the Role
We are hiring a Communication Designer for a leading design-led architecture practice.
This role sits at the intersection of architecture, storytelling, visual communication, and brand consistency.
The studio’s work needs to be communicated to different audiences — clients, students, media, design juries, institutions, and collaborators. Each audience reads architecture differently. A client looks for value and trust. A student looks for process. A media platform looks for narrative. A design jury looks for intent, clarity, and rigour.
That is why this role is best suited for someone who has studied or deeply understands architecture, but may not want to practise core architecture.
Why an Architecture Background Helps
This is not a typical graphic design role.
You will work with:
plans, sections, drawings, diagrams, renders, photographs, and project notes
architectural concepts, material stories, context, process, and spatial intent
project decks, award entries, website features, presentations, and design narratives
To do this well, you need to understand what architects are trying to say before turning it into clear visual communication.
A B.Arch background is valuable because the role requires someone who can read design intent, not just arrange text and images.
What You Will Do
Create visual communication assets for presentations, website, social media, print, events, and digital platforms
Support project features, award entries, pitch decks, and design presentations
Translate architectural ideas into clear visual formats
Work with principals and design teams to understand project intent
Develop layouts using strong grid, typography, image treatment, and hierarchy
Help maintain consistency across the studio’s communication material
Support communication for talks, school presentations, project launches, and media features
Work with drawings, renders, site images, process notes, and project stories
