Role Description The CA_Bank Statutory Audit_Mumbai role involves conducting statutory audits for banking clients in line with regulatory requirements and professional standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, testing internal controls, validating compliance with banking and RBI guidelines, and documenting audit findings in clear, well-structured reports. The role requires collaboration with client finance teams, coordination with audit managers and partners, and timely completion of fieldwork and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data, identify discrepancies, and assess risk.
Solid finance knowledge with hands-on experience in banking operations and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting financial statements, including balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow.
Auditing expertise, including statutory audits, internal controls testing, and compliance verification for banks.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, presenting findings, and preparing clear audit documentation.
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant experience in bank audits or financial services audits.
Familiarity with RBI guidelines, Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), and applicable auditing standards.
Ability to work accurately under deadlines, maintain professional ethics, and collaborate within cross-functional audit teams.
