Chemical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION – CHEMICAL ENGINEER
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Chemical Engineer / Process Engineer to support process design, engineering calculations, technical documentation, and process optimization for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, and EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform process design calculations, including material and energy balances.
Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Carry out process simulations and modelling using software such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar tools.
Prepare and review process datasheets, equipment specifications, and technical documents.
Support the sizing and selection of process equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, vessels, columns, and separators.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, or EPC projects is preferred.
Knowledge of process engineering principles, equipment design, and process safety.
Experience with Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus / PRO/II or similar process simulation software is an advantage.
Familiarity with relevant API, ASME, NFPA, and other applicable engineering standards is preferred.
Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
