Job Description – Condition Monitoring Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Condition Monitoring Engineer to monitor the health and performance of industrial machinery, identify potential equipment failures at an early stage, and support predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the condition and performance of rotating and critical equipment.
Perform vibration monitoring and analysis of pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearboxes, fans, and other rotating machinery.
Collect, analyse, and interpret equipment condition data and identify abnormal trends.
Conduct online and offline condition monitoring activities as required.
Perform and interpret thermography, ultrasonic testing, oil analysis, and other predictive maintenance techniques.
Identify potential equipment faults and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare detailed condition monitoring and equipment health reports.
Establish and monitor equipment condition trends to predict possible failures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Maintenance Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in Condition Monitoring, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability Engineering, or Rotating Equipment.
Strong knowledge of vibration analysis and machinery diagnostics.
Experience with condition monitoring equipment and software.
Knowledge of thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasonic inspection is an advantage.
ISO 18436 / Vibration Analysis Category I or II certification is preferred.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Marine, or Industrial Plants is preferred.
