Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Tiruvallur. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, document, and execute test cases to ensure that products and processes meet internal quality standards and customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include conducting manual testing and test execution, monitoring defects, validating corrective actions, and supporting root cause analysis for quality issues. The role involves close coordination with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement quality assurance procedures, maintain records, and support audits and compliance activities. The Quality Assurance Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, propose process enhancements, and support training on quality best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with the ability to apply QA principles to manufacturing and process environments.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Manual Testing and practical Test Execution for products, processes, or systems.
Candidates should possess the ability to design, document, and manage Test Cases, including clear test steps, expected results, and traceability to requirements.
Candidates should possess familiarity with testing methodologies, defect tracking, and basic data analysis for quality reporting.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field are beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Tiruvallur.
Good written and verbal communication skills for documentation, reports, and cross-functional coordination.
Exposure to automotive or manufacturing quality standards (e.g., ISO/TS standards, SPC, basic tools like 5 Whys, Pareto) is an advantage.
