Role Description The Territory Manager – Sales and Marketing is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam. This position is responsible for managing and growing sales within the assigned territory, including identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals, and promoting Kooper Medical’s product portfolio. The Territory Manager will conduct product presentations and demonstrations, coordinate with internal teams to meet customer requirements, and ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and orders. Day-to-day activities include territory planning, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, supporting marketing campaigns and events, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts. The role also involves maintaining high standards of customer service and providing feedback to the product and marketing teams to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Proven experience in medical device or healthcare sales and marketing, with strong skills in territory management and customer relationship development.
Ability to conduct product presentations and demonstrations, and communicate technical information clearly to healthcare professionals.
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills, with a focus on achieving sales targets and sustainable revenue growth.
Proficiency in planning, reporting, and using basic productivity tools (e.g., CRM systems, spreadsheets, and presentation software).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in the field, with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field; an MBA or specialized healthcare/medical device training is an advantage.
