Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and target-driven Senior Admissions Manager to lead and manage the admissions function at ISBR Engineering College. The candidate will be responsible for driving student enrolments, managing the admissions team, counselling prospective students and parents, improving conversion rates, and ensuring a smooth admission journey from enquiry to enrolment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall admissions process for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programmes.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve admission and enrolment targets.
Manage and monitor the performance of the admissions/counselling team.
Handle and guide prospective students and parents through calls, meetings, campus visits, and other communication channels.
Counsel students and parents on programmes, eligibility, career opportunities, fees, scholarships, and admission procedures.
Drive the complete admission funnel from lead generation, enquiry, counselling, follow-up, application, conversion, admission, and enrolment.
Monitor leads and follow-ups through CRM/MIS and ensure timely action on prospective student enquiries.
Analyse admission data, conversion ratios, lead sources, and team performance to identify areas for improvement.
Conduct regular follow-up campaigns through phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other appropriate channels.
Take ownership of high-value and priority leads and support the team in closing admissions.
Coordinate with the Marketing, Academic, Finance, and Student Support teams to ensure a seamless admission experience.
Participate in and lead admission drives, education fairs, seminars, school/college outreach programmes, open houses, and on-the-spot admission events.
Support and actively participate in institutional marketing and student engagement activities.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, colleges, education consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.
Ensure accurate maintenance of applicant and admission records in the MIS/CRM.
Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports to the Director/Head of Admissions.
Track team targets, individual counsellor performance, and admission pipeline regularly.
Identify challenges in the admission process and recommend strategies to improve student conversion and retention.
Ensure that students and parents receive accurate information about programmes, fees, policies, and admission requirements.
Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service throughout the admission process.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
