Experience: 2 – 3 Years
Employment: Full-Time
Role Summary:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that shape product decisions, marketing strategies, and business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and play a key role in building a data-driven culture across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, clean, and analyse large, complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and deliver clear, concise findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to define KPIs and track performance against business goals.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and transformation logic in collaboration with data engineers.
• Conduct A/B tests and statistical analyses to evaluate experiments and inform product decisions.
• Identify data quality issues, define standards, and work towards improving data integrity across systems.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices within the analytics team.
• Document analytical processes, data definitions, and business logic for knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
• 2–3 years of professional experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL — complex joins, window functions, subqueries, and query optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with at least one BI/visualisation tool: Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent.
• Solid working knowledge of Python or R for data wrangling and statistical analysis.
• Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Strong grasp of statistical concepts: hypothesis testing, regression, confidence intervals, and experimental design.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate data insights clearly through storytelling and visualisations.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Nice to Have
• Exposure to dbt (data build tool) or similar transformation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Prefect, or other workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience with marketing analytics, product analytics, or financial modelling.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts or experience with predictive modelling.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
