Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Rajkot Area. The Service Engineer will perform installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution panels, automation panels, DG sets, UPS, and transformers at customer sites. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, executing field service visits, providing technical support, and ensuring timely resolution of equipment problems. The role involves preparing service reports, coordinating with internal teams, and communicating clearly with customers about service status and recommendations. The Service Engineer will also support preventive maintenance programs, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement in service quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues effectively.
Candidates should possess Field Service and Maintenance & Repair skills to perform on-site installation, commissioning, and upkeep of electrical equipment and panels.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to interact with customers, document service activities, and collaborate with internal teams.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, automation panels, DG sets, UPS, and transformers is highly beneficial.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Comfort working on-site at industrial and commercial locations, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
Relevant experience in service engineering or electrical maintenance, preferably in industrial or renewable energy environments.
