Role Description The Lead Software Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position located in Ludhiana. The Lead Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain back-end systems and services, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. This role includes leading a team of engineers, reviewing code, defining technical standards, and guiding architectural decisions. The Lead Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to refine requirements, plan sprints, and deliver high-quality software on schedule. Daily responsibilities also include troubleshooting complex issues, mentoring team members, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development using modern frameworks and APIs.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming in one or more widely used languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and best practices.
Experience leading engineering teams, conducting code reviews, and setting technical standards.
Familiarity with databases, version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Ability to analyze requirements, design scalable architectures, and document technical solutions clearly.
Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools is an advantage.
