Role Description This is a full-time Financial Advisor role based in Chennai, offered in a hybrid format with a mix of office-based and work-from-home arrangements. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, analyze their current financial situation, and develop customized financial and investment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on savings, retirement planning, risk management, and portfolio allocation, as well as monitoring performance and adjusting strategies as needed. The role involves preparing reports, maintaining accurate client records, staying current with financial markets and regulatory changes, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver a consistent client experience. The Financial Advisor is expected to build long-term relationships, provide clear and compliant guidance, and support clients through regular reviews and follow-up communications.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory, with the ability to create tailored strategies for diverse client profiles.
Solid understanding of Finance and Investments, including risk assessment, asset allocation, and portfolio management.
Experience or training in Retirement Planning, with the ability to design long-term savings and income strategies.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
Relevant academic background (e.g., degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field); professional certifications such as CFP, NISM, or equivalent are an advantage.
Comfort working in a hybrid environment, demonstrating reliability, time management, and self-motivation.
Ethical mindset, commitment to regulatory compliance, and a client-focused approach to advisory work.
