About the Role:
The Creative Automation Designer will be responsible for creating scalable, flexible, and production-ready design solutions that can adapt across multiple products, formats, sizes, content variations, and customer requirements.
The role combines strong visual design expertise with dynamic design systems, responsive layouts, auto-layout, reusable components, AI-powered creative workflows, and production knowledge.
The ideal candidate should be able to transform static creative concepts into intelligent, reusable, and scalable design solutions.
You will collaborate closely with Creative Operations, Product, Technology, Automation, and Business teams to bridge creative design with technical implementation and help build efficient, future-ready creative workflows.
What You Will Do:
Dynamic & Scalable Design
Create visually compelling and production-ready designs for print, packaging, promotional products, branding, and digital applications.
Develop dynamic templates and scalable layouts that adapt across products, formats, sizes, content, and customer requirements.
Transform static designs into flexible, reusable, and scalable design solutions by defining clear layout and content behavior rules.
Identify opportunities to improve scalability by converting repetitive design activities into reusable templates, components, and workflows.
Auto Layout & Responsive Design
Develop layouts using auto-layout, responsive design, constraints, grids, and component-based principles.
Define how layouts respond to changes in content, text length, image dimensions, product sizes, and available space.
Establish rules for resizing, reflow, stacking, wrapping, positioning, spacing, and content priority.
Ensure designs maintain visual hierarchy, usability, consistency, and quality across digital, print, and product formats.
Design Systems & Component Libraries
Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, templates, visual assets, and design standards.
Develop reusable components for typography, color, imagery, icons, grids, spacing, and layouts.
Establish design rules that support consistency, scalability, and reuse across products and business units.
Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to translate design components and specifications into dynamic design systems and platforms.
AI-Powered Creative & Automation
Leverage Generative AI and AI-powered creative tools for ideation, asset creation, variations, enhancement, retouching, and adaptation.
Evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, originality, and brand consistency.
Identify opportunities to integrate AI and automation into creative workflows to improve productivity, scalability, and quality.
Experiment with emerging creative technologies and contribute to AI-assisted workflows and best practices.
Visual Design, Print & Production
Apply strong principles of typography, composition, visual hierarchy, color, grids, spacing, branding, and design consistency.
Create designs that balance creative quality, scalability, usability, and production requirements.
Apply knowledge of print production, packaging, substrates, dielines, color management, resolution, finishing, and manufacturing constraints.
Ensure outputs are technically accurate and suitable for automated, personalized, and large-scale production.
Collaboration & Implementation
Collaborate with Creative, Product, Technology, Automation, and Business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
Translate creative concepts into clear design rules, specifications, components, and implementation requirements.
Partner with technical teams to ensure design intent is accurately translated into dynamic and scalable systems.
Participate in design reviews, prototyping, experimentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Maintain high standards of visual quality, consistency, accuracy, scalability, and production readiness.
Review dynamic templates and outputs to identify layout, typography, imagery, responsiveness, and production issues.
Establish and follow quality standards for dynamic design and template production.
Continuously identify opportunities for standardization, automation, AI adoption, and workflow optimization.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, UI/UX, or a related field.
3–5+ years of professional experience in graphic, visual, template, dynamic, or production design.
Strong portfolio demonstrating dynamic layouts, templates, responsive design, and production-ready creative work.
Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color, spacing, composition, grids, and brand consistency.
Strong understanding of responsive layouts, auto-layout, constraints, components, and reusable design patterns.
Ability to translate designs into rules, logic, templates, and reusable components that can scale across formats, sizes, products, and customer requirements.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Experience creating adaptable layouts, templates, design variations, and reusable visual assets for print and digital applications.
Practical experience with Generative AI and AI-powered creative tools for ideation, image generation, variations, enhancement, retouching, and production acceleration.
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and maintain quality, accuracy, brand consistency, and production standards.
Willingness to continuously learn and adopt AI, automation, and emerging creative technologies.
Understanding of how design systems and creative assets can support scalable and automated production workflows.
Experience with Figma, Adobe Firefly, Canva, or other Generative AI tools will be an added advantage.
Experience with design systems, component libraries, style guides, and automated creative workflows.
Experience in e-commerce, print, packaging, or high-volume design operations.
