About the Role
We're hiring a Social Media Manager to run our content production end-to-end: filming, editing, captioning, scheduling, community management, and weekly reporting. You'll work through a structured weekly production loop that keeps us posting daily, every platform, all year. This is a hands-on, do-it-yourself role — you'll be behind the camera one part of the day and behind the caption box the next.
What You have to do
Film the day's hero video and supporting stills — product/service shots, team footage, behind-the-scenes — getting 2–3 takes of every hook.
Edit the hero video first, then cut platform-specific versions: Reel, Short, and a Story crop.
Caption-burn, build covers, and run every video through our creative checklist before it goes live: strong hook, vertical 9:16 framing, clean subtitles, licensed audio, a clear CTA.
Plan the week's content calendar every Monday — topics, hooks, CTAs, posting times.
Write platform-specific captions and hashtags for every post.
Schedule and post daily, across all platforms.
Reply to comments, DMs, and Google reviews (including negative ones) within 12–48 hours, professionally and on-brand.
Log recurring customer questions as future content ideas.
Pull the week's numbers every Friday, file the weekly report, and flag the best- and worst-performing posts to shape next week's plan.
Qualifications
Experience: 0–6 months in video editing, social media management, or content creation. Freshers are welcome — what we care about is a track record you can show us: a personal Instagram/YouTube page you've grown, college content, freelance reels, or a self-made practice portfolio.
Must-have skills: Comfortable editing in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for covers and thumbnails; understands vertical (9:16) formatting for Reels/Shorts; can use caption/subtitle tools (Premiere's built-in captions, CapCut, Descript, or similar); comfortable writing short-form captions and hashtags; basic filming ability — clean, well-lit vertical video on a phone or camera.
Nice-to-have: DaVinci Resolve (if it's your primary tool); Adobe After Effects/basic motion graphics; experience managing comments/DMs/reviews for a brand or personal page; any exposure to content calendars or scheduling tools.
What you'll need to bring: Your own camera or a capable phone, a mic (lav/shotgun), and basic lighting — plus enough storage/SD cards to shoot generously.

Are based in or around Patna, Bihar, and can film on location.
