Role Description The Business Intelligence Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. In this position, the team member will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that enable data-driven decisions across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing data models, developing and enhancing dashboards and reports, and supporting data warehousing activities. The role also involves working with ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources, validating data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements. The Business Intelligence Developer will continuously analyze data trends, ensure performance and reliability of BI tools, and provide insights that improve operational and strategic outcomes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Data Modeling and Data Warehousing skills to design and manage scalable BI architectures.
Candidates should possess Dashboard development skills and solid Analytical Skills to create insightful visualizations and interpret complex data.
Candidates should possess Extract Transform Load (ETL) skills to efficiently integrate, cleanse, and prepare data from multiple systems.
Experience with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar) and SQL-based querying is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
